A Busy and Brilliant Week in P1/2!
P1/2 have had an exciting and action packed week of Spring learning! In maths, we enjoyed tackling problem-solving dice games and used cubes to build our totals—everyone was eager to see who would collect the most cubes by the end by comparing length! We explored measuring length using our feet. We loved heading out to the Thomas Trail to discover natural objects of different lengths—and even objects that were exactly the same! We then used some of these natural finds to create our own Easter gardens inspired by the story of the First Easter.
Our Spring adventures continued as we made cosy birds’ nests, spotted signs of the changing season, and made some exciting discoveries, including frogspawn in the pond and buds appearing on the trees. We also created delicious chocolate Easter nests and used our Free Fruit Friday snack to design our own Spring themed fruit bowl pictures.
It has been a wonderfully busy week full of exploring, creating, and learning all about Spring in P1/2!
