P4/5 were very excited to welcome farmer Mr Hurst into school for a fantastic and memorable visit! Mr Hurst arrived in style, bringing along his impressive John Deere 155 tractor. We all had the opportunity to climb up, sit in the driver’s seat, and explore the tractor, learning about the different controls and how it works.
After spending time outside with the tractor, Mr Hurst joined us back in the classroom. We had prepared lots of thoughtful questions and were eager to learn more about life on the farm. Mr Hurst explained what a typical day looks like for him and how he takes care of his animals.
A big thank you to Mr Hurst for taking the time to visit us and share his knowledge. We had lots of fun!
