As part of our topic on fairytales, we worked in small groups to choose a scene from a fairytale we know well. We used our bodies, facial expressions and teamwork to create a freeze frame which is a still image that shows a moment from the story. The rest of the class had to guess which fairytale we were showing!
We thought carefully about:
- What the characters might be doing or feeling
- How to show the scene clearly without moving
- How to work together to tell the story with our bodies
It was fun to see how many fairytales we could recognise just from a single moment!
