What a glorious day for our annual Girls’ Football Tournament at Hunter’s Field. Nine local schools participated. After many matches, our A and B teams faced each other in the quarter finals. It was a close match and the A team progressed on to the semifinal against Fivemiletown Primary and then a closely fought final against St Mary’s Maguiresbridge. It went to extra time and finally a dreaded penalty shoot out. Sadly it didn’t go our way and St Mary’s were the winners. We were proud to be the runner’s up and receive our medals from Miss Hadden.
