Grow your own
Eco Council welcomed back Sarah Jane from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, who told us all about the importance of growing our own vegetables. We learned about how big our carbon footprint is when we import fruit and veg. we learned that growing them is much better for the environment. We showed her our beautiful polytunnel and all the things we have been growing. She helped us plant radishes, rocket and carrots.
We have been harvesting some of our produce and giving it to Mrs Tubman and the staff room. Everyone thinks our salad is delicious!
