We went to Florence Court Estate to find out all about the Harvest festival long ago. We learned how they used to harvest the wheat and hay. We looked at the different vegetables that they grew. We went on an Autumn scavenger hunt. We had to follow the clues to find the Autumn things. We made firework rockets. At the end we celebrated the harvest by having a barn dance!
We had so much fun with our friends from St. Mary’s.
