As part of our summer topic, we have been learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly. We have been watching our own caterpillars grow and grow, then cocoon and emerge as beautiful butterflies. It was exciting watching them fly and drink nectar. Today we released them into the Thomas Trail. We watched them dace about from flower to flower.
