This week we have been exploring ice through play and hands on discovery.
We investigated what happens to water when it freezes and melts. We created beautiful winter skies using ice and cool coloured paints, then shared descriptive words to bring our artwork to life.
We also made magical ice lanterns using natural treasures collected during Forest School.
We are really enjoying exploring the story of 'One Snowy Night' through play. We love our 'Hot Chocolate Cafe.' we have to write our own prices and make the treats in the playdough area. We have been making garden sheds for Percy and masks for roleplay. We love using the puppets to retell the story in our own words.
What an amazing learning experience—full of creativity, exploration, and wonder!
