We had a go at pond dipping in our own school pond. We had to very carefully dip our jam jars into the pond. We poured the water into trays and took a close look with our magnifying glasses. We were very excited to find lots of pond insects and pond plants. Most exciting of all was watching the tadpoles. They have hatched out of the frog spawn and are swimming under the plants. They are very small and have long tails to help them swim. We are excited to see how they will grow.
