PSNI Visit to P2/3
P2/3 pupils recently enjoyed an exciting and informative visit from the PSNI. The police officers spoke to the children about their important job and explained why police officers are needed in our community.
The pupils learned about the many ways police help people, keep everyone safe, and work together as a team. They also learned which number to call if they ever need help from the police.
Children had lots of opportunities to ask questions and find out more about what it is like to be a police officer. They were also delighted to try on some police equipment and learn how it is used.
The highlight of the visit was getting to sit inside a real police car—complete with tooting the horn and turning on the flashing lights and sirens! It was a memorable experience enjoyed by all, and we would like to thank the PSNI for taking the time to visit our pupils.
