Right Angles in Action
WALT: To identify and understand right angles and find examples of them in the world around us.
Our Primary 3 learners had an exciting and hands-on maths lesson all about right angles! The children began by discovering what makes a right angle special and why it’s important in everyday life.
To make their learning practical, they designed and created their own right-angle testers using simple classroom materials. With their testers ready, the class headed outdoors on a real-world angle hunt!
From playground equipment to building corners and even signs, the children identified right angles all around them. This activity helped them see how maths is everywhere and made learning both fun and interactive.
Well done, P3 – fantastic work spotting those right angles in action!
