Shared Education Term 2, visit 2.
3rd Mar 2026
Today, the children created their own spring characters. They began by drawing their character, then worked together to give it a name using alliteration, described it with an adjective, and added a verb to show what their character does. The groups collaborated brilliantly and produced some wonderful, imaginative creations.
Afterwards, the children enjoyed a Spring Hunt along the Thomas Trail, searching for signs of spring such as rainbows, lambs, and new growth. They then took part in a spring word hunt, collecting seasonal vocabulary. Working with a partner, they used their chosen spring words to create a sentence together.
It was a fun, creative, and engaging session that combined literacy, teamwork, and outdoor learning.
