Yesterday, Primary 4/5 had a busy afternoon outdoors on the Thomas Trail. We used the fertiliser we had made last month on our potato patch to help the potatoes grow strong and healthy.
We also enjoyed planting beautiful cornflowers in the tyres along the front playground and made sure to use our fertiliser there too so the new plants have the best start possible.
With time to spare, everyone put on their gloves and worked together to weed around the edges of the polytunnel, helping to tidy up our school environment.
It was a fantastic afternoon of teamwork, gardening, and learning how to care for plants!
