On Tuesday, we had lots of fun on the Thomas Trail starting our new term topic on Farming. We brought in a plastic 2 litre bottle and made our own fertiliser with them. First, we put some soil in the bottom of it. Next we added the scraps and peels from our class compost bin on top of the soil. We did another layer of soil and then more compost. Finally, we added shredded paper and grass as the top layer. We left them behind the shed and are looking forward to going back this week to check on them.
