Today the children had to make a shaduf! What's a shaduf I hear you ask? Well, it’s an ancient Egyptian manually operated tool used lift water from a water source (eg, river) to a higher level. The sun was shining and P4 and 5 made Mrs Noble proud with their amazing problem solving and ingenious ideas! They were able to use all natural materials they could find in the Thomas Trail and only the pond area was off limits. It was defiantly a task of trail and error today as most of the class did try to make a large-scale model only to realise the large materials weren't the best idea and switched to smaller models.
